When you think of Ibaraki Prefecture, it’s a prefecture located roughly around here in Japan! It’s neither far from Tokyo nor particularly close...... I hate to put it this way...... but it’s kind of...... neither good nor bad, or rather, its ranking of 46th out of 47 prefectures in the 2025 attractiveness ranking kind of says it all......

This is a Nijisanji project to liven up Ibaraki Prefecture! In Nijiiba Journey, Nijisanji members thoroughly investigate and promote the charms of Ibaraki Prefecture, and in episode Oriens, Oriens dressed as detectives introduce trendy cafés and popular tourist spots! It’s a project to spread Ibaraki’s appeal not only throughout Japan but to the world!

Thanks to this collaboration, the number of people visiting Ibaraki Prefecture has increased quite a bit, and it’s becoming widely known that, since it faces the sea, its seafood is delicious, and that it has many tasty vegetable specialties such as melons, dried sweet potatoes, lotus root, green peppers, and sweet potatoes! At trendy cafés, there are life-size panels of the Oriens detective members investigating these charms, and it seems the area is really lively~!

This time, limited goods featuring Oriens in their detective outfits are also available! Everyone, especially those who don’t know Ibaraki Prefecture, please be sure to visit Ibaraki during the collaboration period~!
